Infusion Day

My monthly trip to the Dr for Grams was today. Actually today it went pretty well. That is a long time to sit at the hospital but it does make her feel better so it is worth it. Andy had off today so that makes it easier. We went to Applebees for lunch that was okay. Seems like there isn't any good restraunts around here any more. We will have to find a new one that we like. Tumbleweed was good and closed, Smokey Bones, and Timberlodge as well. Seems like we are just bad luck to restraunts. If we like you; your going to close.
Sierra is so cranky tonight. Sometimes I don't know what to do about her any more. I love her so much but she can be such a pistol. I'm sure that it is just her age. I need to find a new way to handle it. I try so hard to keep my temper so far so good. The weekend is coming hopefully she will sleep in and catch up on her sleep. Maybe just Maybe that would make her feel so much better. I just wish she would apply herself more at school.
Andy is thinking that maybe on monday he will go back to work. I will miss him a lot. I'm so used to having him now. He needs to go back to get into the swing of things and then we will have the pay checks coming in again, but all the same it will be awfully lonely here without him. He is such a good husband and father. I hope that everyone can find someone as good as him. He means the world to me.

School Day

Sometimes it can be so frustrating the way that the kids are treated at school. I hate it when my kids come home in tears because the other kids are picking on them. It always seems like the teachers are looking the other way. I never know what to do about these situations. I wish that I was able to home school them. They have to learn to get along with other people it will be good for them to know how to compromise and get along when they are adults.
Andy shaved his head today. He is getting more and more bald every day. Some day we will just have totally shave it all off. Oh well it could be worse I guess. When I met him he had great hair. I guess it saves money on shampoo. HaHaHa
Today we went grocery shopping, seems to be more expensive every single time we go. I just can't believe what little you leave the store with for $200. We didn't hardly get any meat 2 pounds of hamburger and 3 pounds of chicken. It is just unreal. I couldn't imagine feeding a family bigger them mine. What am I going to do when they are in high school and eating all the time? I guess I have to find some new economical recipes.

Dance Class

The girls had dance class again tonight. It is nice to get back into the routine. You could really tell that they had missed it. Cami came home and had to show off her new dance moves right away. She has really come a long way in just the year that she has been doing this. Sometimes I think that Sierra would rather not do it but she still goes. Her teacher was upset tonight because the girls weren't taking it to seriously. I can really feel for her she puts a lot of herself into teaching these girls these routines. I can see where it would be really frusterating.
Andy went and got his staples out yesterday. I think that he over did himself yesterday because now today he is hurting more then he has in the last few days. I told him not to rough house so much with Clay and Caden. He never listens sometimes it is just nice to say I told you so, even if it is only once in awhile.
Donald and Kate came over for dinner today then we played We Cheer. Cami beat it tonight. She was so excited. She got all the songs open and now can go and try to conquer them in hard. It is fun to make over the girls and their uniforms.
Tomorrow while the kids are in school it is off to going grocery shopping. I hate that job. but I sure do love having stuff in the house to eat. It is easier when you go without the kids and cheaper too. I guess that tonight I will have to sit down and make a menu otherwise you end up spending way more money then you should. That way you atleast have some kind of idea of where you want to go. And when you get home you do have complete meals that you can make.

Happy New Year

Today was a great day. I wish that every day could be like this. Besides the fact of sleeping until 11:30. Sierra had spent the night at Leslie's and got home at noon. We had a great time over at her house last night. Played We Cheer all night. The kids just love it. Cami and I played again today and beat about 6 songs. That rocks!! I can't wait until I can figure out how to open up some more songs. We just keep on opening up more uniforms. Its so neat that you can change the uniforms and colors and what not. They are all in love with it. The next game we will have to get is the cheerleading game with the wii fit board.
Don and Kate had us over for supper tonight. French onion soup, fruit salad, and fried chicken. It was really good and the best part was that I didn't have to make it. I did help with dishes though that was only fair. Mom wants to do it about once a month now, Grams is going to host it next time that will be fun. It will be nice to actually spend some more time with family. I hope that Donald hangs on to Kate she is a great girl and would be a great addition to our family.
Andy is still recovering from his hernia surgery atleast today is much better then yesterday hopefully tomorrow will be an even better day then today. Monday when he gets his staples out he will really be hurting.

More Wind

The weather here just seems to have taken a turn for the worse the wind is just so cold. I hate to even have the kids go outside. It definately tells me that the warm times are not coming back around until spring. I hate to see it go, I really miss the sunlight. I think that I need to take up tanning to get me through the longer months.
The Packers sure seem to not being doing so good at this moment. It would be nice if they could pull out a win. This was a big game for them.
If anyone has ideas of what to get a 7 year old boy for Christmas let me know, I'm thinking about either K-nex or Legos. Along with Backyard Football for the WII does anyone have this game to know if he would like it or not. He does like the one for the Gamecube, I don't think that there could be that much of a difference. My husband likes to play Madden for the WII, is it similar game play. Also does anyone know anything about the Hannah Montana game I'm thinking about that for my 9 and 10 year old daughters. They just seem to love anything Hannah Montana.

Cold Weather

The cold winter weather is finally starting to take over. I feel like you can't even step foot outside without feeling like the wind is going to knock you over. Time to make sure that the kids have plenty of hats, mittens, scarves, and what not. All that stuff that they manage to lose at school every year and we the parents get the joy of the fun place called the lost and found. What always amazes me is the things that can be found in there. Shoes, coats, schoolbags, lunchbags, you would think that the kids would miss some of this stuff without the help of us to remind them, but I admit I don't think that it will ever happen.
Tonight my friend came over and we made tacos for all the kids. They always have a great time playing together, and it helps the night go by faster for me as well. After they went home we watch Shrek the Halls. I have to say I was impressed it was very cute and I can see my kids watching atleast a few more time before Christmas is here. I just can't believe that we are in the stretch towards Christmas already. I have a lot of stuff to pick up yet, and still some ideas to think up. I know that it will all get done sometimes I just have to wonder where the time comes from but it always manages to work out.

Starting Point

I've been reading these blogs for awhile now and thought that I should try my hand at one. We've had a wonderful holiday now swinging into the Christmas Countdown. The kids had off every day except for Monday, the majority of the weekend was spent playing Guitar Hero 3 and watching movies. Just a relaxing day that everyone needs once in awhile. I am a mother to 3 precious kids aged 10, 9, and 7. My husband works alot so that I can stay home and take care of the kids. Any pointers on how to get this thing started would be great!
